Return and Refund Policy
Thank you for choosing Inferra LLC for your dedicated server needs. We strive to provide reliable services and support, even in an unmanaged capacity. Please read our return and refund policy carefully.
1. General Policy & Scope
This policy applies to all unmanaged dedicated server services provided by Inferra LLC. By ordering our Services, you agree to the terms outlined below. Please note that dedicated servers are distinct from shared hosting and typically have different refund conditions due to the specific allocation of physical hardware and resources.
2. Eligibility for Refund
Refunds are available only under specific conditions and timeframes:
- Initial Setup Period (First 72 Hours): If you are dissatisfied with our service for any reason and submit a cancellation request within the first seventy-two (72) hours of initial service activation, you may be eligible for a full refund of the base server cost, minus any non-refundable fees (see Section 3).
- Service Unavailability/Major Defect: If the dedicated server is experiencing a major, persistent hardware or network issue that Inferra LLC is unable to resolve within a reasonable timeframe (e.g., 48 hours) from the issue being reported, a pro-rata refund for the remaining unused service period may be issued. This does not cover user-error or software configuration issues, as our services are unmanaged.
3. Non-Refundable Items and Fees
The following items and fees are non-refundable under any circumstances:
- Setup/Installation Fees: The initial cost of setting up or installing the dedicated server is non-refundable, as this covers the labor and resources used to prepare the server for your use.
- Software Licenses and Add-ons: Any third-party software licenses, dedicated IP addresses, control panel licenses (e.g., cPanel, Plesk), or other add-on services purchased are non-refundable.
- Domain Registrations: Domain name registration, renewal, or transfer fees are final and cannot be refunded. Administrative or Custom Fees: Any fees for custom configurations, managed support requests (if an exception was made), or administrative actions are non-refundable.
- Payments via Specific Methods: Payments made via bank wire transfers, checks, Western Union, or account credit may only be eligible for a credit balance refund, not a return to the original payment method.
4. Refund Process and Timeline
To initiate a refund or cancellation request, you must follow these steps:
- 1. Submit a Cancellation Request: Log into your Client Area and submit a cancellation request with the cancellation type "Immediate" within the eligible timeframe (e.g., first 72 hours). This action will immediately terminate the service and all associated data will be lost.
- 2. Open a Support Ticket: After submitting the cancellation, open a support ticket with our "Billing" or "Refund Support" department. Provide the service name, hostname, and invoice number to formally request the refund be returned to your original payment method.
- 3. Review and Processing: Our billing team will review your request to ensure it meets the eligibility criteria. If approved, the refund will be processed back to your original payment method. Please allow 5 to 10 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your payment provider's policies.
5. Violations and Abuse
If an account is suspended or terminated due to a violation of our Terms of Service (TOS) or Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) (e.g., spam, illegal content hosting, network abuse), you are not eligible for any refund, pro-rata or otherwise.
We reserve the right to deny a refund if we suspect abuse of our money-back guarantee system.
6. Policy Updates
Inferra LLC reserves the right to modify this policy at any time. The current version will always be posted on our website.
